Shuttle pattern as it travelled down range

I actually didn't take many stills of the shuttle launch, because I was watching it naked eye.

I also didn't see it after it passed above the clouds and flew out toward space. We could see a dark patter however, perhaps the shadow of the trail over the clouds causing a dark apparent parting of the clouds. It was something I have seen with jets flying about the cloud cover.
