NASA discovery bus tour

I took an extra buss tour, called the Discovery buss tour. I went to NASA two days on Tuesday and Wednesday to look around and tour the place. I didn't arrive early in the morning because I was staying over an hour away and was tired from my marathon drive down to Florida.

These are photos from the Discovery Buss Tour, which toured the modern launch facilities. Meaning your drove near them in a buss and we stopped at a few places, We got out near one end of the island, and took some photos and also at times the buss would stop and allow us to take photos. The guide on the extra tours provided better narration than the buss drivers do on a standard tour. He gave more details and had a really nice broadcast quality voice.

Vehicle assembly building. Largest one story building in the world.
Could fit three empire state buildings inside.

How do you move a shuttle to it's launch pad? Very slowly with a lot of precision and power.

We stopped and got out to take photos of various launch pads nearby.

The stop had porta johns.
